Rose Window [history]
The rose window is the only bit of stained glass in our church. It was received and installed in 1951, as an addition to the newly remodeled sanctuary. The window was a gift from Mrs. Edwin P. Taylor of Syosset, given in memory of her son, a World War II casualty. Originally hung in the chapel of Whiteland College in Putney, England, the window depicts the transfiguration of Jesus, and features him in the company of Moses, Elijah, Peter and John.
